About MegacitiesA megacity is a city that has a population of 10 million or more inhabitants. Some of these cities include; New York, Tokyo, Beijing, Sao Paulo and many other cities, mostly located in Asia. Some megacities combine to create megaregions. They are linked by transportation routes, this makes it easy for citizens to move from each city.
These megaregions provide great economic benefits such as, an increased rate of potential business transactions between the different megacities in the megaregion. |
